It was nice to be able to pick up and return the car right from the airport, and the car was clean and the trunk was large and nice. (Two 24-inch suitcases and one 20-inch suitcase fit in the trunk.) I used it comfortably for a fee similar to the cost of a shuttle bus. I think it's easier to drive than Jeju Island. It was convenient as there was ample parking for hotels/tourist attractions/shopping malls, etc., and most of all, it was nice to be able to cool off without having to wait while traveling with the child in hot weather. You could pick it up as soon as you got off at the airport and return it at the airport on the way back, so it was comfortable.
